STARTRADER’s Continuous Efforts to Give Back to Community

CSR for Slum Child Care: As a part of their continuous efforts to invest in the good of society under the visionary leadership of the CEO Mr. Peter Karsten, STARTRADER has recently participated in an event that aimed to raise awareness about the Foundation for Slum Child Care in Bangkok.

In fact, this initiative is just one additional example of the team’s diligent and continuous work to support those who need help around the globe. With generous offerings, the team has achieved tremendous success. They drew smiles on the faces of the children of the slums and gave them hope for a better tomorrow.

To start with a general idea about the CSR efforts for the Foundation for Slum Child Care, the foundation believes that investing in children means investing in a better and brighter future. In fact, their vision closely aligns with that of STARTRADER’s. The foundation operates under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra. It supports the children in the slum communities who are prone to live in a challenging environment. They hardly get their basic needs in their societies.

The reasons that led to creating such adverse environment is that inhabitants get underpaid jobs. As a result, crime and abuse prevail in society. Unfortunately, such conditions pose great dangers for children, and challenging situations for their parents and caregivers. In order to provide a better life, the Foundation works with children up to 5 years of age as the foundation philosophy revolves around the critical role of early intervention. They believe this intervention can break the cycle of poverty and adversity that plagues children living in slum communities.

STARTRADER’s Generous Offerings to the Foundation

Offering more 70 boxes of delights that included cake, sausages with Bread, and juice, STARTRADER made more children smile. Moreover, the team aspired to provide some of the challenging- to-find basic needs. Therefore, they offered 100 packages of UHT milk and 100 packages of snacks. Moreover, the company’s IB also donated 36 boxes of milk. 

In a motivational attempt, the STARTRADER team also provided around 70 pens and 70 booklets for the children under the Slum Child Care Foundation. This attempt indicates the importance of education for creating a potentially brighter future. Additionally, STARTRADER provided some shirts and masks for the organizing staff. By doing so, they expressed their appreciation for the hard work the staff have put into the event. 

By the end of the event, Mr. Peter Karsten and the STARTRADER team took some photos, signifying the great impact of this day. 

Under the guidance of Mr. Peter Karsten, STARTRADER remains dedicated to investing in improving the life of those less fortunate. Their continual contributions to community welfare stand as a powerful testament to their commitment to corporate social responsibility.
